Project – Oliver Mill Restoration and Bridge 2 Repair

CPA funding to complete Phase II of the necessary bridge replacement restoration work in Oliver Mill Park. The Park’s bridges have deteriorated over time and work is now critically needed to ensure the safety of the visiting public and the integrity of the structures for future generations. Together, the consultants have developed a plan for the restoration of the Oliver Mill Park bridges which is prioritized by both the extent of the damage and the potential hazard to visitors of the Park.
This application for CPA funding is proposed to complete Phase II replacement of Bridge 2. Proposed work includes repairing and reconstructing the stone abutments near Bridge 2 along Channel B; reinforcing and securing the freestanding wall in Building Remnant 1; and repairing and restoring the damaged stone bridge over Channel E.
